This free information session was proudly supported by the Department of the Attorney General and was held on 14th May at 4.15 - Duxton Hotel. This highly successful seminar attracted more than 350 participants.

CPD - What is going on?
Message from the President
"The Solicitor General has informed me that the Legal Profession Bill has now been passed by both Houses of Parliament and should be assented to by the Governor in the next 10 days. It is expected that the Act, the Regulations and the Rules will come into operation on 1 January 2009."
* The Legal Practice Board has published its proposed requirements in the Continuing Professional Development Final Policy dated 6 December 2007 on the Board’s website www.lpbwa.org.au

As your Manager Professional Development and Education I will update this Blog regually to keep everyone up-to-date, informed and entertained as we experience our first mandatory CPD year together. I expect the adventure will be an exciting one.
What are we doing that is different?

- I will be visiting Bunbury soon to discuss the pilot of four Video Conferences.
